[aqua11y] Button floater won't be read
Last modified: 2009-07-20 15:57:41 UTC
aqua11y CWS: - in Writer (or overcomponents) travel with F6 to the Format toolbar - travel then to the Font color icon. - Press down to open the color pane floater -> VoiceOver says: "Openoffice has new windows" - travel with the keyboard -> no output
Keywords: aqua, accessibility
.
VO cursor is now set to contents of floating window. Fixed in CWS aqua11y02
Re-assigned to QA for verification.
It doesn't matter how you travel in the toolbox (VO cursor or normal cursor), there is now an output but it is for every color "dimmed".
Reassigned
When you move vertically, feedback is "dimmed". When you move horizontally, there is no feedback. Debugging showed, that VO stays on the "menu" level and does not enter the "menu item" level, even when shift-ctrl-alt-down is pressed. That's why the color names are not spoken. VO can simply not deal with this kind of control, there is no equivalent in Cocoa. It is nothing we can do here on our side.
Verified in CWS aqua11y02 @FNE: what about submitting a bug/feature to Apple?
