When there is a notification about new extensions updates (in this case the English Dictionaries) in the text box that shows what has been improvement, nothing appears.

But, I filled the information about it in the Extensions site, so it can only be a bug?

Could someone verify it?

My test with "AOO 4.2.0-Dev – German UI / German locale [AOO420m1(Build:9800)  -  Rev. 1599676  2014-06-04]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4. User Profile used for all predecessor versions:

1. In AOO Start Center menu 'Tools -> Extension manager -> Select/Click EN Dict.
   Version 2014-02-10'
   > Extension becomes highlighted
2. Click [Check for updates]
   > 2 French and 1 English dictionary appear in "Avalilable Extension Updates"
3. Click EN dict.
   In Text pane 'Description / What is new' 
   Expected: more info
   Actual:   text "No more details ..." (Translation from German text)

(a) I wonder whether I ever saw a useful text for any extension there

Did that ever work for you with any AOO version for any extension?

Yes, step 3 is the problem.

I am not sure, but I believe I have never seen anything in step 3.
